Crashes over our pet peeves
It has been almost a month since we reunited. Things are going alright, though we do have to learn how to get along with one another again. There were a few crashes here and there on our pet peeves, which mainly have to do with his spending habit and my Internet habit.
I don’t like him spending so much money on his toys and collectibles, because I think we should save up money to buy a house. My habit of leaving the Internet on when I am not in front of the computer annoyed him. He would close all the pages that I left open on purpose. I got upset having to logon and open them again when I wanted to check on new opps for paid posts. I think it’s just him being paranoiac, never have problems with spyware, virus or keylogger even though I have been leaving the pages open for the last two years that I have been working online.

Have not checked on the online bank account for some time. Just did that and found out the big boy still has not transferred the money to pay the visa application and buy air ticket, like he said he would since three weeks ago. Instead, heĀ went on a spending spree last few weeks, spending much of his last two paychecks on buying toys!! So much for promise not to buy another toy on Ebay.
Would you want to live with a person who could not keep his promise and lied through his teeth. What is more upset? He is not apologetic and called that “throwing tantrums” when confronted. I could close one eye to a lot of imperfections because no one is perfect, but would not tolerate and are tired of lies and broken promises. Would postpone the move indefinitely, until the issue is resolved and evidences of commitment is there. There is no point leaving my comfort zone and all that I have here for lies and broken promises.

Happy 25th anniversary
My friend MK and his wife are celebrating their 25th anniversary this week. In this age and time, I bet staying married for 25 years is a reason to celebrate!
Let me tell you, my friend MK is not exactly the kind of person who is easy to live with.:-)The fact that they are still talking with one another after being married for 25 years is enough to impress me. For people who have married for two and half years and can’s see each other eye-to-eye majority of time, it’s a lot of lessons for us to learn.

Hubby has gone for a couple of interviews recently, even make it to the third interview for one of the jobs. So, I am keeping my fingers cross that he is going to land at a better paying job and we can afford to get our own place soon.
It’s not easy for hubby in the past one year, working at a low paying dead end job, trying to meet ends while looking for a better job. There may be a lot of jobs in Los Angeles and other big cities, but there aren’t many suitable jobs available in this small town. He had gone for countless interviews during the first six months he was back to IL, he got so fed up with the roller coaster rides, he just refused to go anymore for the next six months.
Last month, he decided to follow up with some applications that he has tendered a year ago, and surprisingly, they are calling him for interviews now. I really hope and pray that he will be successful in securing a better job this time.
